How to Stay Disease Free

Unfortunately there is no part in this world which can be called as disease free; with increasing population and pollution every now and then we come to hear about a new variety of disease cropping up from some part of the world. Take H1N1 for example.

But the relieving fact is that we can avoid being victim of such diseases by adopting few habits in our daily routine: 

  • Balanced Diet: For a healthy body it is very important to include adequate quantity of detoxifying agents in our diet, which are basically provided by the green vegetables. Say no to sweets and junk food. Include some amount of eggs, chicken and beef in your diet.
  • Workout: Find some time for workout every other day if it is not possible every day. One should indulge in working out at least for thirty to forty five minutes daily. Bicycle riding, walking, swimming, running are few simple ways to work out which keeps us active and increases resistivity towards diseases. 


  • Medical Checkup: It is advisable to go for full body check up once or twice a year, just to ensure that you are not near to catch any disease at an early stage.

  • Adequate Sleep: It is very important to take at least 8 hours of sleep daily that too before sunrise. This helps in improving the Immune system and rebuilding the body cells.

  • Avoid Smoking and Alcohol: Just stay away from these bad habits. Smoking is not only injurious to the person who is smoking but is also harmful for the people in the vicinity.
